CPP TAKES ITS WEBSITES TO THE NEXT LEVEL
The CPP website provides information on the umbrella company as a whole, while clearly outlining the three brands encompassed within in it. From here, users can navigate to each of the brands’ pages and then between them since they are interlinked.
Ease of information has been central to the websites’ new designs and, for this, the brands’ pages clearly list the products available within the range in addition to information in each of the products including reasons to specify it and possible applications. Downloads on the products are also available giving users even more detailed information if required.
Throughout the new websites, common features include a stockists search, which, after entering a postcode or town, the user is provided with the three nearest stockists for the selected brand and also an option to request a quote for a particular product, panel size, thickness and quantity. Thee features help users to gather the information they require more efficiently.
Access to news for each of the brands was also key in the design process and, for this, each clearly displays the latest news, whether it is a new product, case study or information on a new regulation. Furthermore, the sites have details on up-and-coming events that the company and / or its brands are involved in as well as a live Twitter feed ensuring that visitors to the pages are aware of the latest information.
“In the websites’ designs, we have really considered what the end users requirements are while ensuring that the key information is provided on Coillte Panel Products, including the security of supply and information about its own forest, as well as key information on its individual brands (Medite, SmartPly and Medite Tricoya) in a way that their own identities are retained,” commented Joanna Crown, Marketing Manager at Coillte Panel Products. “Ultimately usability was at the forefront and we are extremely pleased with the outcome.”
