SmartPly is set for a strong start to 2009 with the launch of SmartPly SiteProtect - a durable coated panel specifically for site hoarding and security applications, widening SmartPly's product offering in the UK, Ireland and international markets.
SmartPly SiteProtect is a coated site hoarding panel, designed to save both time and money. The SmartPly OSB3 substrate has been coated with a smooth heavy-duty exterior cross-linked polymer surface treatment, and was developed specifically for use in a breadth of applications from temporary site hoarding through to a range of security installations.
As SmartPly SiteProtect is pre-coated and has a smooth, durable finish, there is no need to prime. Where corporate colours are required, fewer coats of paint are needed, and logos can be applied directly to the SmartPly SiteProtect panel, providing the high performance demanded with reduced labour costs.
SmartPly SiteProtect, like all SmartPly's products, is Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) certified. Supported by all environmental groups, including Greenpeace and WWF, FSC certification is recognised by the Central Point of Expertise on Timber Procurement (CPET) as satisfying the UK Government's requirements for sustainable and legal timber. In keeping with current construction methods working towards healthier environments, SmartPly SiteProtect has been manufactured using zero-added formaldehyde, and the coating is 'zero voc' (volatile organic compounds). This means that it is inert and doesn't emit any harmful compounds, making it ideal for internal and external applications.
This brand new, high quality, secure site barrier product was developed in close cooperation with SmartPly customers.
