NEW TESCO FOR ROSCREA USES SMARTPLY SITEPROTECT AS SECURE SITE HOARDING
SmartPly's coated site hoarding product SiteProtect is being used as the perimeter site hoarding during the redevelopment of the Tesco store in Roscrea, Tipperary. With the redevelopment will come improvements to the offering Tesco has for the local communities as well as an increase in job opportunities. Tesco demands high standards of sustainability and environmental responsibility not only of in-store products and suppliers, but the maintenance and construction of new and existing stores throughout the world. As part of a €113 million euro investment plan for Ireland, the giant retailer will replace the existing store in the centre of Roscrea with a modern new shopping centre. With work already underway, it is hoped it will be fully operational in the first half of 2011. In keeping with Tesco's commitment to sustainability and the environment, SmartPly's SiteProtect coated hoarding panel was specified as the site hoarding for its FSC certification, its durability, the short distance from its manufacturing facilities in Ireland, and for its coating of a smooth heavy-duty exterior cross-linked polymer surface treatment, making it both time and cost effective. SmartPly is part of the panel products division of Coillte, the Irish forestry and forest products company. SiteProtect is offered in 2440mm x 1220mm x 18mm panels, and is available from all good SmartPly stockists for both internal and external applications. Full product information and technical details are available from www.smartply.com/siteprotect.
