SmartPly's new SiteProtect coated hoarding panel is being embraced by leading contractors and clients across the UK. SiteProtect, the smart OSB answer for site hoarding and security applications, is a durable coated panel designed to save both time and money.
The SmartPly OSB3 substrate is coated with a smooth heavy-duty exterior cross-linked polymer surface treatment, and was developed specifically for use in a breadth of applications from temporary site hoarding through to a range of security installations.

In June, demolition began to prepare a site for the new Ark Academy in Brent.
Willmott Dixon won the £32 million contract to build the academy, comprising infant, junior and secondary schools as well as sports facilities for 1,600 pupils on one site, near Wembley National Stadium. The academy, designed by Studio E architects, will have as small a carbon footprint as possible and will have a phased opening from September 2010. SiteProtect was selected for its pre-coated finish and local production and manufacture in Ireland.
SiteProtect is providing high performance and reduced labour costs for Bristol-based contractors who are using SiteProtect as hoarding for sites which are undergoing both demolition and housing construction.
In keeping with current construction methods working towards healthier environments, SmartPly SiteProtect is manufactured using zero-added formaldehyde and a 'zero voc' (volatile organic compounds) coating. This makes it inert and ideal for internal as well as external applications such as work at the internal reception and atrium area in Royals Business Park, near Canary Wharf.
A new development at NHS Royal Cornwall Hospital in Truro, Cornwall, is taking advantage of SiteProtect's smooth, durable finish, which needs fewer coats of paint and gives a quality finish.
The £4.4m new office complex Winnersh Triangle in Reading has a BREEAM rating and 26 per cent less carbon emissions than a standard office. Contractors turned to SmartPly's SiteProtect for FSC certified site hoarding which was pre-coated, making it both cost and time effective.
