David Murray has been appointed as Technical Manager for SmartPly, part of Coillte Panel Products. With a degree in Wood Science & Technology and over 10 years technical and commercial experience of timberframe and offsite construction, David will provide technical support to the sales and marketing team and customers.

Based in Waterford, David will report to SmartPly’s operations director Jim McCann, and joins the technical team with quality & environmental manager Anne Lucey and process engineer Michael Nicholl. David’s responsibilities will include new product development and he will also be a key member of the OSB process development team.
